Egypt aims to boost exports by 20% in 2019

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt aims to increase its exports by 20% during 2019, the country’s minister of trade and industry Amr Nassar said.

The trade ministry has launched several programmes to boost its exports, Nassar added on the sideline of Egypt Economic summit on Tuesday.

According to recent data released by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS), the North African nation’s exports grew by 2% to $15.2 billion in the first half of 2019, compared to $14.9 billion in the year-ago period.
