Egypt-Iraq trade exchange grows 36% in 2020

Cairo - Mubasher: Bilateral trade between Egypt and Iraq increased by 36% to $747.6 million in 2020, compared to $551.3 million a year earlier, Egypt’s Minister of Trade and Industry Nevine Gamea revealed. 

Gamea held a meeting with the Iraqi Minister of Trade, Alaa Al Jubouri, to explore the possible means of boosting trade between the two countries, according to a statement on Sunday. 

The value of Egypt’s exports to Iraq grew by 3% to $421.7 million last year from $411.4 million in 2019.
