Cairo – Mubasher: The net profits after tax of Egypt Gas dropped year-on-year (YoY) to EGP 138.62 million in the first nine months (9M) of 2023 from EGP 152.49 million.
The EGX-listed listed firm posted revenues amounting to EGP 3.61 billion in 9M-23, down from EGP 5.09 billion in 9M-22, according to the financial statements.
Earnings per share (EPS) hit EGP 1.44 in January-September 2023, versus EGP 1.59 a year earlier.
Total assets reached EGP 14.23 billion during 9M-23, compared to EGP 12.92 billion as of 31 December 2023
In the first half (H1) of 2023, Egypt Gas registered EGP 122.81 million in net profit after tax, an annual surge from EGP 103.52 million.
Operating revenues fell to EGP 2.10 billion in H1-23 from EGP 3.06 billion in H1-22, while the EPS after tax and before dividends grew to EGP 1.28 from EGP 1.08.
