Mubasher: Educational Holding Group reported a growth of 14.3% in profits during the first quarter ended on 30 November 2017 compared to the same period last year.
Earnings increased to KWD 1.92 million ($6.38 million) in Q1 ended on 30 November 2017 from KWD 1.68 million ($5.58 million) in the corresponding period in 2016, according to a bourse filing on Sunday.
The increase in profits is attributed to the company’s higher share from earnings of an associate.
During the fiscal year ended on 31 August 2017, Educational Holding posted KWD 5.66 million profits compared to KWD 4.69 million in the same period in 2016.
