Mubasher: The European Commission on Monday announced that it has approved the Kuwaiti Public Investment Authority’s (PIA) acquisition of UK’s North Sea Midstream Partners (NSMP), an oil and gas pipeline firm.
NSMP owns natural gas transportation and processing assets in and around the UK North Sea, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
EU said that the proposed takeover would raise no completion concerns, noting that there are no horizontal overlaps between the activities of both firms.
The acquisition’s value wasn't disclosed.
