EMPC’s consolidated revenues surge 21% in H1-25; profits fall

Cairo - Mubasher: Egyptian Media Production City Company (EMPC) delivered 24.26% lower consolidated net profit after tax at EGP 359.51 million in the first half (H1) of 2025, compared to EGP 473.59 million in H1-24.

Revenues reached EGP 614.70 million as of 30 June 2025, reflecting a 21.29% surge from EGP 506.79 million in H1-24, according to the financial statements.

Earnings per share (EPS) dropped by 24.26% to EGP 1.69 in H1-25 from EGP 2.23 in the same period of 2024.

Standalone Results

EMPC witnessed a 25.36% hike in non-consolidated net profits after tax to EGP 448.56 million during the first six months (6M) of 2025, versus EGP 357.83 million in H1-24.

The standalone revenues increased by 15.76% to EGP 460.82 in H1-25 from EGP 398.09 in January-June 2024, while the EPS rose by 25.36% to EGP 2.13 from EGP 1.70.

In 2024, EMPC generated consolidated net profits of EGP 801.40 million, an annual jump from EGP 481.69 million.
