Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Monday's trading session on a positive note as the main EGX30 index climbed by 2.69% to end at 10,061 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI advanced by 1.8% to 2,371 points, while the EGX100 EWI increased by 1.89% to 3,316 points.
Likewise, the EGX50 EWI rose by 2.15% to end at 2,210 points.
The market cap value grew by EGP 11.96 billion to reach EGP 644.250 billion.
Local and foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 1.6 million and EGP 3.52 million, respectively, while Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 5.16 million.
The market's turnover stood at EGP 1.78 billion after 600.2 million shares were exchanged through around 58,210 transactions.
