Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) indices went down in a week, with market capitalisation lost EGP 5.1 billion.
The benchmark index, EGX30, declined by 1% to 13,720 points, while the EGX70 index shed 0.83% to 1,256 points.
The EGX100 index fell 1.4% to 1,364 points and the equally-weighted index, EGX50, sank 1.53% to 1,871 points.
Market capitalisation decreased to EGP 695.6 billion over the week, compared to EGP 700.7 billion in the previous week.
The EGX’s trading volume reached 1.17 billion shares at a value of EGP 10.3 billion.
