EGX's indices close Sunday's session down

Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 benchmark index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) declined by 1.51% to close Sunday's trading session at 11,830.94 points.

The EGX50 EWI retreated by 1.53% to 2,057.9 points, while the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI lost 1.69% to end Sunday's session at 2,196.5 points.

Meanwhile, the EGX100 EWI decreased by 1.64% to 3,223.79 points.

A total of 193.31 million shares were traded through 27,345 transactions valued at EGP 4.168 billion.

The market cap value amounted to EGP 759.91 billion.

As for trading on securities, Arab and foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 17.434 million and EGP 154.5 million, respectively, while Egyptian traders were net buyers with EGP 171.935 million.
