Cairo-Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices advanced on Wednesday early trade, as the benchmark index EGX30 edged up 0.44% to 7,363.5 points on local and foreign buying.
The equal-weighted index EGX50 went up 0.59% to 1,219.3 points.
Similarly, the small and mid-cap index EGX70 added 0.52% to 391.4 points, while the broader index EGX100 edged up 0.41% points to 844.8 points.
The market total turnover recorded EGP 103 million, on trading 60 million shares, through 3,800 transactions.
Arab and foreign investors came as net buyers with EGP 22 million and EGP 4.8 million respectively, while local investors came as net sellers with EGP 26.8 million.
The stocks of Citadel Capital, Orascom Telecom Media, Arabia Investments Holding, Palm Hills, Global Telecom, Edita and Hermes went up by 0.4% to 4.5%.
