Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) opened Sunday’s trading session on a mixed note.
By 10:30 am Cairo time, the benchmark EGX 30 index dipped11.21 points, or 0.07%, to 15,791.96 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 index edged up 0.08% to 750.05 points, while the broader EGX100 index inched up 0.05% to 1,938.78 points.
The equal-weighted EGX50 index levelled up 0.08% to 2,580 points.
Trading volume amounted to nearly 23.5 million shares exchanged at a turnover of EGP 50.6 million through 1,600 transactions.
The heavyweight Commercial International Bank (CIB) slipped 0.47% to EGP 85.5, with a turnover of EGP 1.35 million.
