Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Thursday's trading session on a positive note with the main EGX30 rising by 0.43% to 10,642 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI climbed by 3.14% to 2,763 points, while the EGX100 EWI rose by 2.42% to 3,722 points.
Meanwhile, the EGX50 EWI advanced by 2.12% to end at 2,339 points.
The market cap value grew by EGP 7.99 billion to register EGP 709.028 billion on Thursday, compared to EGP 701.03 billion on Wednesday.
The market's turnover reached EGP 1.27 billion after 388.37 million shares were exchanged through nearly 46,120 transactions.
Local and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 56.67 million and EGP 25.76 million, respectively, while foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 82.43 million.
