EGX ends Tuesday's session on mixed note

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Tuesday's trading session on a mixed note with the benchmark EGX30 index declining by 0.33% at 8,657.5 points.

The EGX50 EWI also went up by 0.46% to settle at 1,571.19 points by the end of Tuesday's session.

The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI rose by 0.24% to 1,659.76 points, while EGX100 EWI inched up by 0.30% to end the session at 2,442.86 points.

EGX’s turnover amounted to EGP 2.19 billion after 363.53 million shares had been traded through 32,512 transactions.

The market cap value was valued at EGP 593.07 billion.

As for trading on securities, Egyptian investors were net buyers with EGP 724.55 million, while Arab and foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 225.39 million and EGP 499.16 million, respectively.
