EGX ends Monday's session on varied note

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Monday's trading session on a varied note with the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI declining alone by 0.04% to 2,195.63 points.

The main EGX30 index inched up 0.24% to close Monday's session at 11,859.12, while the EGX100 EWI grew by 0.10% to 3,227.04 points.

In the meantime, the EGX50 EWI advanced by 0.08%% to end at 2,059.57 points.

The market cap value amounted to EGP 760.43 billion.

The market's turnover reached EGP 4.93 billion after 179.53 million shares had been exchanged through 25,643 transactions.

Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 191.35 million, while Egyptian and foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 38.9 million and EGP 152.443 million, respectively.
