Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange saw positive performance on Wednesday, as the benchmark index EGX30 closed on 0.97% gains at 9,865 points.
EGX70 closed at 930.1 points, up by 2.76%, while the broader EGX100 rose by 1.98% at 1,021 points.
The equal-weighted index EGX50 added 2.41% and settled at 1,313 points.
Meanwhile, the market cap increased by about EGP 6.62 billion to EGP 540.51 billion.
A total of 242.56 million shares were traded today at a turnover of EGP 13.9 billion, through 21,620 transactions.
Today, 109 stocks closed in the green zone, while 22 ended in losses, and 36 remained unchanged.
