Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) showed a positive performance on Thursday after the EGX30 main index rose by 1.81% to 28,411.41 points.
Both the EGX70 EWI and EGX100 EWI also ended the session higher by 1.74% at 6,886.12 points and by 1.78% at 9,679.78 points, respectively.
EGX’s turnover stood at EGP 4.89 billion through the exchange of 1.11 billion shares, while the market cap value amounted to EGP 2 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the foreign and Egyptian investors were net buyers with EGP 57.98 million and EGP 41.05 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the Arab traders were net sellers with EGP 99.04 million.
