Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) showed a positive performance on Thursday, with the EGX30 main index rising by 2.04% to close at 28,506.16 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI also closed higher by 1.79% at 6,480.79 points.
Similarly, the EGX100 EWI increased by 1.86% to 9,229.47 points.
EGX’s turnover reached EGP 3.19 billion after 689.35 million shares were traded. Meanwhile, the market cap value totalled EGP 1.90 trillion at the end of the session.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian traders were the net buyers with EGP 188.71 million. On the other hand, the Arab and foreign investors were the net sellers with EGP 139.01 million and EGP 49.69 million, respectively.
