EGX closes Sunday with negative performance

Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) declined at the end of Sunday’s session, as the EGX30 main index retreated by 0.75% to 28,199.04 points.

The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI went down by 0.38% to 6,859.73 points.

Similarly, the EGX100 EWI decreased by 0.49% to 9,632.62 points.

The trading value reached EGP 4.76 billion through the exchange of 1.13 billion shares. In addition, the market cap value totalled EGP 1.99 trillion.

As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 54 million and EGP 29.61 million, in respective order. Meanwhile, the Arab traders were the net sellers with EGP 83.61 million.
