Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed higher on Sunday, as the EGX30 main index added 0.69% to 29,125.57 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI increased by 1.73% to 7,369.50 points. Likewise, the EGX100 EWI gained 1.42% to hit 10,305.32 points.
EGX’s turnover reached EGP 5.25 billion through the trading of 1.66 billion shares.
In addition, the market cap value stood at EGP 2.04 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian investors were net sellers with EGP 137.47 million, whereas both the foreign and Arab traders were the net buyers with EGP 37.87 million and EGP 99.60 million in respective order.
