Dutch direct investments to Egypt hit $10bn

Cairo – Mubasher: The Netherlands has injected direct investments of $10 billion into Egypt through 648 Dutch companies operating in the most populous Arab nation, Egypt’s minister of investment and international cooperation Sahar Nasr said.

Dutch firms ranked second in terms of the volume of foreign direct investments (FDI) in Egypt, she added in a statement on Tuesday.

This came during the inauguration of Farm Frites’ new plant in 10th of Ramadan City with investments worth $40 million.
