Dubai to build world’s first hotel with artificial rainforest

Dubai – Mubasher: Dubai is planning to establish the world's first hotel containing a rainforest, according to The Independent newspaper.

The $550 million resort is set to be situated on more than two million square feet and is scheduled to be opened in 2018, the British online newspaper reported.

Named the Rosemont Hotel and Residences, the new project will comprise an artificial beach and a glass-bottom pool suspended above the streets of Dubai, along with two 47-storey towers, The Independent revealed.

“All entertainment facilities, including the 75,000 square feet rainforest, will be located in the podium at the base of the two towers,” The Independent concluded.
