Dubai's foreign trade hits AED 722bn in H1-21

UAE - Mubasher: Dubai's foreign trade jumped to AED 722 billion during the first half (H1) of 2021, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, announced on his official Twitter account on Sunday.

Sheikh Hamdan remarked that the increase in the emirate's foreign trade has been driven by Dubai's infrastructure, logistics, and smart digital environment that facilitates the trade exchange's procedures.

This performance came in line with the vision of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to record AED 2 trillion in foreign trade during the upcoming five years and add 200 trade partners.
