Dubai Properties awards AED 1.1bn contract for Villanova project

UAE - Mubasher: Dubai Properties, a member of Dubai Holding Real Estate, has awarded contracts worth nearly AED 1.10 billion to Metac General Contracting Company.

The new award aims to construct 850 townhouses at the Villanova development in Dubailand, according to a press release.

The deal covers Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the La Tilia project within Villanova, comprising 500 three-bedroom homes and 350 four-bedroom homes. Phase 1 will deliver 410 units, while Phase 2 will add 440 units.

Since its launch, Villanova has delivered 3,834 homes, positioning itself as one of Dubai’s established suburban residential communities catering to mid-market and upper mid-market segments.

The latest expansion reflects sustained demand for integrated, family-focused developments featuring green spaces, connectivity, and proximity to key infrastructure.

Khalid Al Malik, the CEO of Dubai Holding Real Estate, said: “The award of these contracts reflects continued demand for high-quality, family-focused communities in Dubai. Villanova has demonstrated strong buyer appeal, and this expansion builds on that momentum.”

“Through disciplined execution and trusted partnerships, we remain focused on maintaining construction progress and delivering La Tilia to the standards our customers expect,” the CEO noted.

La Tilia continues Villanova’s Mediterranean-inspired design approach, incorporating landscaped surroundings, pedestrian-friendly streets, parks, cycling, and walking tracks, as well as integrated retail and community facilities within the master development.

Located within Dubailand and connected to major arterial roads, Villanova is designed around contemporary family living, integrating residential clusters with schools, retail, and recreational amenities.
