Dubai Customs clears AED 948m goods for Expo 2020 Dubai

UAE - Mubasher: Dubai Customs has cleared 12,600 tonnes of goods valued at AED 948 million for Expo 2020 Dubai, set to be held from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022, the Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.

Dubai Customs has also achieved 1,432 customs declarations for Expo goods, in addition to the facilities and preferential services dedicated to exhibitors and visitors of EXPO 2020 Dubai.

The CEO of Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Corporation and Director General of Dubai Customs, Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, said: "We have a plethora of preferential services and facilities dedicated to serve the event’s exhibitors including the dedicated Smart Customs EXPO 2020 Channel, the ATA Carnet, the Authorised Economic Operator and the iDeclare App, which expedites passenger traffic."
