UAE - Mubasher: The Dubai Chamber and TikTok for Business have supported more than 280 startups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to accelerate their digital growth through their partnership on the Dubai Chamber-TikTok Academy.

To date, around 300 businesses across various industries, including tech, art, health, construction, and banking, have participated in the educational programme to expand their presence on the TikTok platform, according to a press release on Tuesday.

The Dubai Chamber-TikTok Academy aims to enable SMEs and startups, representing more than 90% of all businesses in the Arab economies, to grow and extend their brands among international audiences.

The General Manager of Global Business Solutions in the Middle East, Africa, Turkey, and Pakistan at TikTok, Shant Oknayan, said: "In this digital age, businesses must dedicate their efforts to further strengthen their online presence for business success. We hope to support more businesses in the months to come through the Academy and help them with their digital transformation strategies."
