The Arabian Food Industries Company (Domty)’s consolidated financial statements revealed a EGP 57.7 million profit for the second quarter of this year, compared to a 12 million profit for the same period last year.
The company said in the stock exchange trading screen bulletin that it achieved 693.4 million pounds sales during the period mentioned, an increase of 42% over the comparative period of 2017.
"We have moved product prices by 2 to 3 percent at the beginning of the third quarter as a result of higher energy and dollar prices," Domty added.
