Dlala Brokerage Q1 profit slides 84%

Mubasher: Dlala Brokerage and Investment Holding (DBIS) posted a 84.2% year-on-year drop in its profits for the first quarter of 2018.

Profits amounted to QAR 1.3 million in Q1-18, down from QAR 8.2 million over Q1-17, according to a filing to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) issued late Wednesday.

Earnings per share (EPS) retreated to QAR 0.05 for the three-month period ended 31 March 2018 compared to QAR 0.29 in the same period of the previous year.

For the full-year 2017, DBIS’s profits hiked 338.2% to QAR 16.65 million, compared to QAR 3.8 million a year earlier.
