Digital DEWA's Moro Hub, Siemens to foster technology services

Dubai – Mubasher: Moro Hub, a subsidiary of Digital DEWA which serves as the digital arm of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), and Siemens teamed up to enhance operational technology (OT) security and smart city services.

The partnership aims to anchor the digital transformation agenda through information and communication technologies (ICT) resources, according to a press release.  

Marwan bin Haidar, Vice Chairman and Group CEO of Digital DEWA, said: “By providing the necessary infrastructure for digital adoption to public and private enterprises, we enable businesses to unlock their potential.”  

Moro Hub seeks to ensure the security of its operations through enhanced solutions designed to safeguard critical infrastructure and minimize risks.

The collaboration will deploy Siemens' RUGGEDCOM Cybersecurity Solutions, a wide range of hardware, software, and services tailored to identify, protect, and manage cyber threats to industrial control systems.

Moro Hub and Siemens plan to reinforce OT security measures across various sectors, including energy, transportation, manufacturing, and utilities.
