Egypt’s diesel consumption jumped by around 7% year-on-year (YOY) to 1.26 million tons in May 2018, up from 1.18 million tons in May 2017, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.
Figures published by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) show that diesel output in Egypt dropped by around 5.4% as the North African country produced 597,000 tons in May 2018, compared to 631,000 tons in May 2017.
