Dice turns profitable in Q1-21 on higher sales

Cairo - MubasherDice Sport and Casual Wear turned to net profits of EGP 4.06 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, versus net losses of EGP 43.26 million in Q1-20, including minority shareholders' rights. 

The sales grew to EGP 297.62 million in the January-March period, compared to EGP 260.2 million in the same period in 2020, Dice said in a bourse disclosure on Wednesday.

The company incurred standalone net losses of EGP 6.64 million in Q1-21, down from EGP 47.95 million in Q1-20.

In 2020, Dice turned to net losses of EGP 54.73 million, against net profits of EGP 120.8 million in 2019, including minority shareholders’ rights.
