Dice's standalone loss narrows 87% in H1-21

Cairo – Mubasher: Dice Sport and Casual Wear incurred net losses of EGP 13.615 million in the first half (H1) of 2021, down by 86.6% year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 101.507 million, the standalone financial results showed. 

The sales surged to EGP 581.4 million in the January-June period from EGP 363.5 million in the prior-year period, the company said in a bourse disclosure on Monday. 

In the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, the company turned to consolidated net profits of EGP 4.06 million, versus net losses of EGP 43.26 million in Q1-20, including minority shareholders' rights. 

The standalone net losses declined to EGP 6.64 million in Q1-21 from EGP 47.95 million in Q1-20.
