Dhafra Insurance profits down 20% in H1

 

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Dhafra Insurance said it narrowed its profits by 20% in the first half of the year to AED 35.5 million ($9.67 million) compared to AED 44.33 million ($12.07 million) in the corresponding period of 2014, according to a filing to the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) on Sunday.

At the level of second quarter, the insurance firm posted an increase by 3.8% to AED 7.09 million compared to AED 6.831 million in Q2-14.

Revenues from insurance premiums grew 10% to AED 222.237 million in H1-15 from AED 202.251 million in the same period of last year.
