Denmark's Field Advice, Alpha Sky ink MoU to expand in Middle East

Mubasher: Denmark-based Field Advice has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Alpha Sky to expand its investments in the Middle East in a bid to meet the spiraling demand for environment-friendly disposable containers in the region.

The two companies will provide food packaging and nature-based disposable tableware to restaurants, airlines, hotels, retail, in addition to the consumers who prefer on-the-go, speedy, and convenient food services, Saudi Gazette reported.

“The growing trend in takeaway and food delivery backed by mobile platforms is raising the demand for disposable food containers globally,” Alpha Sky CEO Ayman Al Hilali stated.

The Danish company manufactures packaging and tableware products from renewable resources such as starch, sugarcane fiber, palm leaf, and bamboo.

“We believe that our food containers [are] the answer to the demand for packaging that is sustainable and not harmful to the people and the environment,” Al Hilali added.
