Dar Al Arkan achieves SAR 499m in H1-26 net profits

Riyadh – Mubasher: Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development Company logged a net profit of SAR 498.97 million for the first six months (6M) of 2026, marking an annual increase of 11.39% from SAR 447.96 million.

The developer attributed the growth primarily to a surge in property sales and higher rental revenues, which helped offset rising finance charges.

Total revenue for the half-year period reached SAR 2.34 billion, up 31.34% from SAR 1.78 billion a year earlier. Operating profit saw a significant gain of 39.34%, climbing to SAR 962.90 million.

Earnings per share (EPS) rose to SAR 0.46 at the end of June 2026 from SAR 0.41 in the prior-year period.

During the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, the company recorded a net profit of SAR 238.74 million, representing a marginal increase of 0.05% against SAR 238.62 million in Q2-25. Quarterly revenue grew by 38.47% to SAR 1.18 billion.

While property sales remained strong, the company noted that the quarterly bottom line was impacted by higher finance costs, though these were partially mitigated by lower operating expenses and increased non-operating income from Islamic Murabaha investments.

Total shareholders' equity stood at SAR 22.71 billion as of 30 June 2026.

In Q1-26, the company’s net profits jumped by 24.31% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 260.24 million from SAR 209.34 million.
