Dana Gas receives AED 53bn from Iraqi Pearl Petroleum

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Dana Gas announced that it had received AED 52.8 million ($14.4 million) from Pearl Petroleum Company for condensate and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) sales in Iraqi Kurdistan in the first quarter of 2018.

The paid amount did not include Dana’s share of amounts received from Kurdistan government and local traders, which Pearl Petroleum held to cover operating costs and capital expenditure (Capex) requirements, according to a bourse statement.

In March, Pearl Petroleum, a five-company consortium led by Crescent Petroleum and Dana Gas, had signed a 10-year gas sales agreement with Kurdistan government.
