Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Sharjah-based Dana Gas on Sunday announced a buyback of around $12 million of 4% Nile Delta Sukuk Ltd Certificates– Reg S of the Issuer in December.
The repurchased sukuk will be delivered to the principal paying agent Bank of New York Mellon in due course for effecting cancellation, the gas company said in a filing to the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (EGX).
The total remaining of the 4% Nile Delta Sukuk Ltd Certificates would stand at $404 million following the cancellation.
In November, Dana Gas posted that it had bought back $14 million of Nile Delta sukuk certificates in October.
