Riyadh — Mubasher: The board of Dar Almarkabah for Renting Cars Company (DS Rent) recently approved the appointment of Mohammed Al Ghamdi to the company’s audit committee.
The decision was made during a board meeting held on 24 August 2026.
DS Rent noted that Al Ghamd assumed the position as of 25 August 2026 and the decision will continue until the end of the current committee term.
Al Ghamdi brings over 15 years of professional experience in financial management, treasury, investment, and financial consulting. His career includes previous roles at major firms such as Ernst & Young (EY) and KPMG.
He has extensive experience serving on boards and audit committees for various financial institutions, including the Saudi Investment Bank and MedGulf Insurance.
Moreover, Al Ghamdi holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, along with professional certifications in treasury, risk management, and leadership.
The company confirmed that the appointment did not require further non-objection from official authorities.
Earlier in August, DS Rent announced the appointment of Ayman Jaber as a member of the audit committee.
