Riyadh — Mubasher: The board of Dar Almarkabah for Renting Cars Company (DS Rent) announced the appointment of Ayman Jaber as a member of the audit committee.
The decision was approved by the Board of Directors on 3 August 2026, according to a bourse filing.
Jaber, who was also appointed as an independent board member, assumed the committee seat as of 4 August 2026 and for the remainder of the current term.
Jaber brings more than 17 years of professional and leadership experience in internal auditing, risk management, governance, compliance, and internal control. His career spans several sectors, including banking, financial technology, finance, and telecommunications.
He has previously served on various boards of directors and audit and risk committees, where he specialized in establishing internal audit departments and developing risk-based audit plans.
A graduate of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals with a degree in accounting, Jaber holds several professional certifications, including Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
The company stated that the appointment is part of its efforts to strengthen its oversight functions and governance framework.
