DP World considers investment opportunities in Brazil

UAE – Mubasher: Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, CEO of DP World, discussed investment opportunities with Brazil's foreign affairs minister Ernesto Araujo on the sidelines of his visit to the Brazilian capital, Brasilia.

During the meeting, the two officials tackled social reform, a stable and efficient regulatory framework to attract investors alongside public-private partnership (PPP) projects in a bid to enhance foreign direct investment (FDI) in the South American nation, DP World said in a recent statement.

The Brazil-based DP World Santos is a key part of the global trade enabler’s operational network in the region.

“The company has major interests across Latin America with services to cargo owners and shipping lines at five key gateways on the west coast of South America in Posorja (Ecuador), Callao and Paita (Peru) and San Antonio and Lirquen (Chile) as well as operations in Argentina and the Dominican Republic,” the statement highlighted.
