DMCC's Uptown Dubai project in progress

Dubai – Mubasher:  The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) announced that its Uptown Dubai project is proceeding “at pace”, according to an official statement by the DMCC.

The DMCC added that construction works for the first of two super-tall towers, which are part of the planned mixed-use development next to Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT), have already completed.

More than 150 piles have been installed for the tower in the past few months, with another 140 put in place to support the first the of a podium that features a two-level central plaza, including food and beverage outlets, retail spaces, and entertainment zones.

DMCC executive chairman, Ahmed Bin Sulayem, said, “DMCC is laser focused on delivering Uptown Dubai and the team has worked tirelessly to ensure that the critical foundations supporting the supertall tower were delivered on time and within budget. The announcement today shows the significant progress made towards what will become one of Dubai’s most vibrant destinations.”
