DIB evolves customer experience with HPE GreenLake

Dubai – Mubasher: Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) teamed up with the HPE GreenLake edge-to-cloud platform in order to enhance the core banking services, deliver improved customer experience, and launch new services and digital products.

The lender will deploy a comprehensive set of HPE Aruba Networking wireless solutions to boost its connectivity and mobility capabilities as well as overall network security, according to a press release.

Obaid Al Shamsi, Chief Operating Officer (COO) at DIB, commented: “As we aim to become the most progressive Islamic financial institution in the world and align with the UAE Government's vision for innovation and modernized services, we constantly refine our services and develop new solutions, taking into account our customers’ needs throughout their journey with DIB.”

The DFM-listed bank plans to deliver optimal solutions to ensure flexible and easily scalable IT. The partnership will also optimise internal operations and secure the required resources for future growth plans.

HPE Aruba Network Edge Services Platform (ESP) is a cloud-native architecture that offers automated network management, integrated edge-to-cloud security, and predictive artificial inelegance (AI)-powered insights.

DIB recently entered the Turkish digital banking and fintech sector through an equity investment in T.O.M. Group of Companies.
