DFM up on Monday; ADX down

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Monday's trading session on a varied note.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up by around 0.81% or 19.62 points to close Monday's trading session at 2,419.60 points.

A total of 307.31 million shares were traded through 5,137 transactions valued at AED 594.39 million.

Emirates NBD headed the rising stocks with 5.8%, while Aan Digital Services Co (AAN) topped the losing stocks with 3.85%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched down by about 0.42% or 20.94 points to settle at 4,964.94 points by the end of Monday's trading session.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.28 million after 245.86 million shares had been exchanged.

Waha Capital came on top of the red zone with 4.55%, while Fujairah Building Industries led the green zone with 14.91%.
