Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market’s (DFM) general index went down 25.61 points, or 0.99%, to 2,574.21 points in a week on the back of the banks and real estate sector.
Market capitalisation declined to AED 345.128 billion this week, compared to AED 346.302 billion a week earlier.
The banking sector lost 1.87%, as Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) decreased 6.53%, while the real estate sector retreated 1.15% after Emaar Properties levelled down 2.13%.
Over the course of this week, the bourse’s trading volume reached 342.22 million shares, while the market’s liquidity hit AED 487.35 million.
