DFM loses 17 pts at Thursday’s open

Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a negative performance in Thursday’s early trades, weighed down by the fall of three sectors led by real estate.

The DFMGI declined 0.49% or 17.1 points to reach 3,488.60 points by 11 am UAE time.

The transportation sector retreated 1.33% as Gulf Navigation Holding decreased 4.14%.

The real estate sector sank 0.9% after Emaar Properties and Arabtec Holding went down 1.7% and 0.85%, respectively.

The investment sector levelled down 0.88% as Dubai Investments slid 1.35%.

The market saw trading of 42.44 million shares through 703 transactions, with a turnover of AED 64.48 million.
