UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Wednesday's trading on a varied note.
The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 0.4% to settle at 2,867.91 points by the end of Wednesday's trading session.
A total of 133.225 million shares were exchanged through 2,634 transactions valued at AED 270.343 million.
As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched down 0.12% to close Wednesday's session at 6,642.96 points.
Turnover amounted to AED 1.11 billion after 144.33 million shares had been traded through 2,851 transactions.
Sharjah Cement and Industrial Development Co topped the losing stocks with 4.87%, while Zee Stores led the rising stocks with 8.42%.
