DFM ends Monday's session up

Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) rose by 0.29% or 8.20 points to close at 2,878.04 points by the end of Monday’s trading session.

The turnover amounted to AED 182.354 million, where 91.449 million shares were exchanged through 2,635 transactions.

In the meantime, DFM’s market cap value soared by AED 1.36 billion to AED 375.213 billion from AED 373.855 billion on Sunday.  

Sector-wise, the banks inched up by 0.49%, followed by the services with 0.40%, and the real estate with 0.23%, while the consumer staples shed by 1.53%, followed by the investment and financial services with 1.23%.

International Financial Advisors (IFA) grew by 6.56% to close at AED 0.65, while Takaful Emarat Insurance fell by 2.80% to close at AED 1.39.

Emirates NBD went up by 0.75%, while Arabtec Holding grew by 0.59%.
