DFM ends Monday’s session in gains

Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) levelled up by 0.51% or 13.54 points by the end of Monday’s trading session, closing at the level of 2,673.70 points.

The turnover reached AED 236.99 million after 100.83 million shares were traded through 3,560 transactions.

The market cap value rose by AED 1.6 billion to AED 366.39 billion from AED 364.78 billion yesterday.

As for the market sector indices' perfromance, the real estate sector advanced by 1.07%, followed by banks with 0.45%, while the services sector inched down solely by 0.05%.

Amlak Finance rose by 3.91% leading 18 rising stocks, while Al Salam Bank – Sudan beared the highest loss with 5.56%.

Emaar properties led the trading activity through the exchange of 26.56 million shares, recording AED 110.98 million worth of liquidity.

Arabtec Holding added 2.29% followed by Emaar properties with 0.97%.
