DFM ends 28 pts down on Tuesday

Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market’s (DFM) general index declined by 28.37 points, or 0.99%, to close at 2,849.67 points on Tuesday.

Trading volume reached 110.942 million shares, while liquidity amounted to AED 259.145 million.

Market capitalisation went down to AED 372.922 billion on Tuesday, compared to AED 375.213 billion in the previous session.

The real estate, services, banking, and investment sectors lost 2.43%, 1.13%, 0.69%, and 0.67%, respectively.

Emaar Properties dropped 3.04%, while DXB Entertainments declined by 1.37% and Arabtec Holding shed 1.18%. Damac Properties sank 0.97%, while Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) shrank 0.93% and Dubai Investments levelled down by 0.76%.
