DFM down 0.8% on Thursday's close

Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down by 0.76% or 13.89 points to close Thursday's trading session at 1,809.12 points, unlike its upward performance on Wednesday, 25 March.

The market cap value registered AED 272 billion, down by around AED 950 million compared to AED 272.95 billion during the previous session.

Around 350.32 million shares were traded through 4,397 transactions worth AED 264.61 million.

Meanwhile, the banks sector topped the decliners with 1.67%, followed by the investment and financial services segment with 1.63%.

Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Company (Aman) led 17 losing stocks with 4.87%, while Gulfa Mineral Water and Processing Industries Company came on top of 15 rising stocks with 15%.

Amanat Holdings was the most active stocks with 100.15 million shares, while Emaar Properties posted the highest turnover of AED 61.72 million.

Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) topped the declining blue chips with 3.06%, while DXB Entertainments led the rising blue chips with 14.41%.
