DFM closes Thursday’s session down; ADX up

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Thursday’s trading session lower by 13.39 points (0.32%) at 4,065.82 points.

A total of 145.18 million shares were exchanged during the session at a value of AED 327.17 million.

Emirates NBD posted the highest turnover of AED 58.84 million, while Drake and Scull International (DSI) was the most active stock with 38.83 million shares.

Aramex topped the gainers with 1.21%, whereas Agility Public Warehousing led the fallers with 5.26%.

On the other hand, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went up by 0.359% to 9,126.44 points.

The turnover amounted to AED 913.09 million through the exchange of 246.34 million shares, while the market cap value reached AED 2.79 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) recorded the highest turnover of AED 222.19 million, whereas Dana Gas dominated the trading volume with 30.11 million shares.

Agility Global led the risers with 7.83%, while National Bank of Umm Al Qaiwain (NBQ) headed the decliners with 8.26%.
